Clown of Slipknot Stars in "The Devil's Carnival"

M. Shawn Crahan a.k.a. "Clown" of the mighty Slipknot has just announced that he has been spending the past few weeks in California working on his very first acting role. He plays a character names "The Tamer" in a film/project titled "The Devil's Carnival", but there isn't much information available currently on the project other than what Crahan himself announced on his social media pages.Crahan calls the project, "A crazy, demonic musical set in hell!"

"I play a Character called the tamer. And let me tell you, there is a little Tamer in all of us. It's always been a dream and a goal for me to try and act in something that is filmed besides music videos.I am very honored to have the opportunity to have worked with so many talented actors and people who are involved in making this production come to life."

The movie is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who also directed such horror films like Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV and Repo! The Genetic Opera. From his previous work like Saw, we can only imagine that this film will be dark, ominous and gory as hell. But that's what good horror films are all about aren't they? And to add on to it, Clown is known for is eye for the disturbing darker side of things so if he agreed to be a part of this, then we can only hope that a little bit of his twisted mind translates onto film through his acting.

"I also want to say that I had the time of my life and I want to give a special thanks to all of those that made this possible. Especially Darren Bousman and Sean E," Clown went on to say.

Check out the website for the film at www.TheDevilsCarnival.com or keep an eye peeled for the trailer, reportedly being released within the next month or so.
