Raw, Real, Gritty concert footage doesn't always make for a great video, especially if the band thinks they're as awesome as the fans do. Well, meet Anew Revolution. (ie..."Imerica [Explicit]" cd). This time, the dirty lens of music pays tribute to the feeling us hard rock concert go-ers love, pay for & sometimes drive a far piece to experience. And you won't often meet a more humble "family" of musicians that respect & stay close to their origins as well as their fans. They are sincerely grateful for the fans support. Something like that doesn't stay behind the curtain. Music makes magic happen. It really is that simple.

Anew Revolution | Live
by
Aaron Manogue
Last Friday night, Anew Revolution took a "night off" from their Hard Drive Live Tour duties to
headline a show at Scatz in Middleton, WI. I've seen every kind of show imaginable and Anew Revolution interacts with their fans and puts on a show that can stand next to any national or international band. It's not about pyrotechnics or stage theatrics with the guys in ANR, because they ARE the pyro. Their vibrant personalities and endless passion for their music pour through their live show and you can't help but enjoy the ride. Lead singer Joey Duenas even surprised fans with his impromptu rendition of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive." Check out a few clips of the shenanigans that ensued that night and see why they are quickly becoming one of the nation's best live shows.
