Jesse Leach Rejoins Killswitch Engage

Finally! To the delight of many KSE fans, they have officially announced that former lead man Jesse Leach is returning to the microphone for them. This comes after weeks of rumors and speculation that Leach would return to front the band after former vocalist Howard Jones departed from the band, giving his Type 2 Diabetes as his reasoning for leaving, among other rumors. Immediately after Jones left the band, the internet was abuzz with rumors and whispers that Leach had already been selected to replace Jones.

Well, late yesterday, Killswitch made a subtle yet boisterous announcement, by simply placing a photo of the lineup on their official site, with Leach front and center.

If you'll remember, Leach was the singer for the band on the first two albums that really brought them into the spotlight, the 2000 self-titled album and the 2002 'Alive or Just Breathing,' then was replaced by Jones who recorded the last 3 records. Killswitch Engage returns to the stage featuring Jesse Leach when they play the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival.
