Saliva Finds New Singer

Saliva announced today that they have found their replacement for former lead man Josey Scott who left the band months ago to pursue a solo career as a Christian singer. The replacement comes in the form of...a drummer? Yeah it confused us too. But trust me when you hear this kid sing, you'll know why they chose him. Bobby Amaru, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida's Burn Season has been named new lead man. Bobby also fronted his own solo group, aptly titled Amaru. According to Noisecreep.com, the band has already recorded three new songs and are still in search of a new record deal after leaving their previous deal with Island Records. The kid has one hell of a set of pipes on him and it should be interesting to see where Saliva can go from here. If you ask me, anywhere but up after parting ways with Josey.
